The Decision Sessions · $97
Stop circling that one big decision.
Three sessions:
from circling to moving.
The professional carrying one big decision: the kind that sets the direction of work or life, the kind they’ve been circling for months.
A few of the ones people bring:
- Whether to leave the role that pays for a life you don’t get time to live.
- Whether to start the thing you’ve described at dinner for three years and never put on paper.
- Whether to move closer to your parents while the years still allow it.
- Whether to have the conversation with your business partner you’ve rehearsed for a year and never scheduled.
- Whether to hand over the thing you built, and who you’d be without it.
A hard problem forces your hand. A comfortable one lets you keep waiting.
This isn’t a scare tactic. It’s the math most people never do.
Another year of carrying it has a price, paid in the currency a statement never shows: the months, the energy, the people who get the distracted version of you.
The decision you’ve been circling isn’t a thinking problem. It’s a design problem.
The thinking is done. Months of it, from every angle. Circling is thinking; more of it only makes more.
What it is missing is structure, not thought: a sentence that names it, a price on the wait, the real question under the options, a test instead of a leap.
Three sessions are enough to build that.
Name it. Price it.
The decision comes out of your head and onto the page.
You leave with the decision in one sentence, and your own math on another year: money, months, energy, people.
Find the real decision.
The decision you walk in with often isn’t the one you walk out with.
You leave with the real decision, restated until it’s yours.
Decide and move.
Not certainty. Motion.
One small step you can take, undo if you need to. You leave with one small, reversible experiment with a date on it.
A date for your first move by your third session.
Not the finished decision. The end of the deferral.
Some decisions need more than three sessions. The deferral never does.
The sessions are private: you and Eugene, 45 minutes on Zoom, working your decision and nobody else’s.
There is no cohort to wait for. You book each session around your own calendar: one at a time, or all 3 at once. Between sessions, the work sits with you; the thinking you do there is part of the design.
The 3 sessions are yours for 60 days. Most people finish inside 3 weeks.
Eugene Siew runs a decision counsel practice. He sits with people making one big decision, and helps them find the real question under it and decide well.
Before that, fifteen years designing products at Apple, Wealthfront, Meta, and OKX.
He knows what a decision like this costs, because he has made them, and walked away from over $800,000 in equity. What he teaches is what those cost him to make, not a method he read about.
$97 · All three sessions
3 private sessions, 45 minutes each, booked around your calendar. The 3 sheets you fill as you go: the decision named with its carrying cost, the real decision found under it, and the experiment card with a date on it. A 20-minute debrief after your third session, where Eugene reads your 3 sheets back to you, offers one observation, and asks one question.
One payment, at the first booking. If you leave by the end of your first session, it’s refunded in full.
Admission is by application: 4 short questions, answered by email. If an invitation brought you here, reply to it with your answers. Otherwise, send them to eugene@eugenesiew.com.
- In one sentence, what is the decision? A rough sentence is fine. Getting it precise is what the first session is for.
- How long has this one been with you? A rough answer works: a few months, most of a year, longer.
- Is anything about this season dated? An offer in hand, a lease, an exit, a date someone else set. If nothing is dated, say so.
- Confirm two things: this decision sets a direction in your work or life, and the choice is yours to make. Decisions that need a clinician, a lawyer, or a financial advisor get referred to the right help rather than worked on here.
Eugene reads every application personally. Accepted applications get a reply with a private booking link; your first session and the $97 are booked there.
How do the sessions get booked?
Through a private booking page, one session at a time or all 3 at once, around your calendar. Each booked session confirms by email with the Zoom link and a calendar invite.
How long do I have?
The 3 sessions are yours for 60 days from payment. Most people finish inside 3 weeks.
What if I change my mind?
Leave by the end of your first session and the $97 is refunded in full, no conditions. After that, there’s no refund.
Do I have to share?
The sessions are one-to-one. Your written work stays with you; what you say out loud stays between you and Eugene.
What if my decision is clinical, legal, or financial?
Those get referred out. This is for decisions that set a direction, not ones that need a clinician, a lawyer, or a financial advisor.
Is this faith-based?
The teaching draws on Christian principles. Your first session opens with more on this, and the option to leave by the end of it with a full refund if it’s not for you.
